Communication is key! This module introduces a range of strategies Support Workers can use to support people to express themselves. It outlines common communication aids and how to support someone to share their feedback or make a complaint.
This course provides crucial training to ensure safety while transporting individuals with disabilities, minimising risks to workers and clients. By equipping support workers with skills to secure individuals and wheelchairs, it emphasises the duty of care towards passengers, colleagues, and themselves.
Intermediate level training about key word sign. This course assumes you have completed a basic certificate in key word sign.
This module introduces foundational information from the support worker’s role, types of disability and communication tips. It also covers Reportable Incidents and respect and dignity in the context of the NDIS Code of Conduct.
