This 30-minute online course is designed for support workers and families to provide an understanding of living with epilepsy and disability.
There are unique challenges and issues that arise when someone has epilepsy and an intellectural disability. The course covers some of the challenges faced, recognising types of seizures and the impact on quality of life. does not cover seizure first aid.
Exploring everything about change, this course will show learners how to: understand and respond to change, manage change, and communicate with others during periods of change.
This course will teach you how to spot the warning signs and support those near you to find the help they need. It has been informed by those with lived experience of mental health problems and mental health professionals.
