This program has been designed to influence, empower and educate a wider population to improve the health and healthcare of people with intellectual disability. Learn about best practice in the field of intellectual disability healthcare and gain knowledge to improve health outcomes for this disadvantaged group.
This module, which has been designed specifically for Support Workers, will assist you in understanding your role in identifying and managing risk at the frontline. This module takes a positive approach to risk and is designed in an NDIS context. It explores the legal obligations and the NDIS Commission's requirements (including elements of the NDIS Workforce Capability Framework) that need to be considered alongside your organisation's risk framework.
This two day course is designed for those working in the mental health sector to understand trauma and its effects, as well as how to use a strength-based approach to respond.
