Spinal Cord Injuries Australia (SCIA) and Accessible Accommodation have come together to create a training course to help accommodation providers feel confident welcoming guests with accessibility needs.
This is one of two modules we've made to support you to comply with the NDIS Commission's requirements around incident management. The NDIS Practice Standards require all workers to be trained in incident management
This module, which has been designed specifically for Support Workers, will assist you in understanding your role in identifying and managing risk at the frontline. This module takes a positive approach to risk and is designed in an NDIS context. It explores the legal obligations and the NDIS Commission's requirements (including elements of the NDIS Workforce Capability Framework) that need to be considered alongside your organisation's risk framework.
