Under the NDIS Practice Standards and Quality Indicators, workers must receive appropriate training if they are involved in the management of waste and hazardous substances. This course has been written with this Practice Standard in mind, exploring how to safely handle waste and hazardous products. There has never been a more important time to get this practice right.
This two (2) day (7 hours total) training will assist workers to identify symptoms of compassion fatigue, burnout, vicarious trauma, and secondary traumatic stress and to enable them to utilise tools and strategies to prevent and manage compassion fatigue, burnout, vicarious trauma and secondary traumatic stress.
This interactive course is designed for Disability Support Workers. It is about Active Support - a way of providing the right support for a person to be engaged and have a good quality of life.
This online learning resource is about support for decision making. It will present the first evidence-based framework to guide you through the process of supporting people with cognitive disabilities to make decisions.
An elearning module is available to help NDIS workers understand how to best support safe and enjoyable mealtimes
