Registration renewal
Registered workers are required to renew their registration each year. Renewal opens on 1 August and closes on 30 September. Click here for more information on renewing your registration.
Continuing professional development (CPD)
All registered workers will be asked to make a declaration that they have completed 10 hours of relevant CPD when applying to renew their registration. For more information about CPD, including guidance and fact sheets, please click the button below.

Rights and responsibilities of registered disability workers
Registered disability workers must abide by the Disability Service Safeguards Code of Conduct, as per a Guideline set by the Board. In addition to the Code of Conduct, registered disability workers have a range of rights and responsibilities that come with being registered.
